Victoria Square Project (VSP) is an evolving social sculpture. It was founded in 2017 by the artists Rick Lowe and Maria Papadimitriou in the context of documenta 14. VSP operates as a contemporary art space for artistic inspiration and empowerment of the community of the neighborhood of Victoria. The team of Victoria Square Project poses in the public sphere the curatorial question Who is the contemporary Athenian?, a question about belonging, collaborative research and community engagement. The Living Room, located in Elpidos 13, consists of a place for social interaction, conversion and exchange of ideas. Victoria NOW brings contemporary art into daily life through art workshops for kids (4-12 years old), the youth (13-20 years old) and any young and creative soul regardless of their age! Finally, the international program Station One AIR, hosts upcoming artists interested in sharing their practices with the community. All the events of VSP are realized with the valuable contribution of its network of collaborators and supporters. See you at Elpidos 13!
